Mobile game to raise awareness of plastic pollution
The Deep is an organisation concerned with marine conservation internationally, working on pioneering research schemes to protect the future of our oceans.
They operate a large aquarium in Hull from which they gather most of their funding.
Smashed Crab Studio worked with The Deep to create a game experience that would be both entertaining and educational. The aim of the project was to modernise some of the attractions at The Deep and for the final product to be used to help reach their marketing goals.
The game will allow them to run competitions on their social media platforms as well as collect contact information from visitors in an unobtrusive way, helping them to build mailing lists for the future.
